Sign up free at app.seenbyai.co, or install from the Shopify App Store to manage it from your Shopify admin. Either way, you'll enter a short brand summary, your product category, target market, and up to 3 competitor URLs. Once setup is complete, your first run starts automatically and results are ready in 10-15 minutes.
Your first run takes 10-15 minutes. Once complete, you'll see your AI Search Score, AI Knowledge Score, competitor comparisons, and a personalized Playbook with recommended actions. The Playbook includes timing estimates for each action, AI Search improvements can show up in days or weeks, while AI Knowledge changes take 6-12 months (the next AI training cycle).

No. SeenByAI is completely read-only. It measures your AI visibility by querying real AI models, it never modifies your store, products, or data. The app analyzes what AI says about your brand and gives you a Playbook of recommended actions, but any changes to your store are up to you.
You can cancel at any time. Shopify users: uninstall SeenByAI from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps → SeenByAI → Delete). Standalone users: cancel from your account settings. Either way, your subscription ends at the close of the current billing cycle and you won't be charged again. If you have any trouble, email support@seenbyai.co and we'll sort it out for you.
When you uninstall the app or delete your account, your data is automatically deleted within 30 days. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, or want confirmation that deletion is complete, email privacy@seenbyai.co with your store URL or signup email and we'll process the request within 5 business days.
Yes. SeenByAI works with any brand website, Shopify, WordPress, custom-built, or anything else. Shopify merchants can install it as a native app inside their Shopify admin. Everyone else can sign up at app.seenbyai.co. Either way, it doesn't modify your site, it measures your AI visibility by querying real AI models.
AI Search score measures how often your brand appears when AI tools that search the live web, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, answer product questions in your category. AI Knowledge score measures whether training-data models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) know and recommend your brand without searching the web.
Scores run from 0–100, grouped into bands: 0–30 (Weak), 31–60 (Developing), 61–100 (Strong). Most brands score in the Developing range. Scores above 70 are strong.
AI models regularly update their training data and search indexes, and they don't always produce identical responses to the same query. Some variation between runs is normal. Significant changes, up or down of 10+ points, usually reflect real changes in how AI models have been updated, or real changes in how your brand is covered across the web.
Not necessarily. AI visibility has low correlation with Google rankings. Models like ChatGPT and Claude draw on training data, not live search results, so brands with strong SEO can still be invisible in AI responses. AI Search tools like Perplexity and Google AI Overviews do use live web results, but weight signals differently from traditional search.
Yes. You can set your target market when you set up your brand. SeenByAI generates prompts relevant to your region and queries AI models accordingly. Currently supported regions include UK, US, Australia, Canada, and the EU. If your region isn't listed, contact us at support@seenbyai.co.
Yes. Your competitor list is only visible to you. We do not share which brands you track with any third party. We do collect anonymised, aggregated visibility scores across all users for future benchmark comparison features, but this data cannot be used to identify your brand or your competitor list.
